Our current offer is a grant that allows you to receive a $5000 CCTV completely funded by the government. The Community and Small Business CCTV fund was established by the NSW Government in February 2019. The purpose of the Fund is to directly support not-for-profit community and small business organisations install CCTV cameras at their operational premises by providing up to $5000 in funding.
The program’s intended outcome is to:
- Support community organisations and small businesses to implement CCTV security measures at their premises
- Provide deterrent for potential offenders contemplating criminal offences
- Provide the NSW Police force with access to CCTV data for law enforcement purposes
The Program is voluntary and available to community groups and small businesses in the following ten local government areas:
- Blacktown
- Cumberland
- Penrith
- Camden
- Fairfield
- Wollondilly
- Campbelltown
- Liverpool
- Canterbury-Bankstown
- Parramatta
If your business falls outside these local government areas, you are not eligible to apply for this program. The program will be assessed later for expansion to other areas of NSW.
